Tethered caps – caps which remain attached to the containers during the product’s intended use stage including opening and closing - will become part of our day-to-day life in Europe in 2024. This is due to the EU Directive 2019/904 on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment.
But don’t worry: AROL is already working with packaging manufactures, bottling lines manufactures to minimize the impact of the changes.
